I have worked in the entertainment industry for over 25 years, holding various creative and financial roles in different companies. My responsibilities have included hiring staff, analyzing operations, preparing tax documents, managing cash flows, and creating cost reports.
I started my career in physical film and television production, where I gained valuable insights into set operations. My budgeting and staff management skills were recognized early on, leading to opportunities to be mentored by production managers and producers. My financial and managerial skills became more refined as I progressed in my career. I have managed teams ranging from a dozen employees to 125 employees. I was also a partner in a marketing and advertising production company, where I was responsible for creative and financial operations and staff management. Our clients included Lionsgate, Universal, Landmark, and Magnolia Pictures.
Currently, I am the Financial Controller for an international music and film entertainment company. I am responsible for all banking and financial duties and activities involving the company’s U.S.-based, Japanese, and French business operations.
Outside of work, I pursue my creative side with art and photography. I’m currently enrolled at the Kline Academy of Fine Art in Culver City, CA with an emphasis on Classical Painting, Impressionism, Abstract Contemporary Landscape Painting, and Live Figure Drawing
